I love this. Your diet is not only what you eat.
Read it a couple times...
Always be mindful what you put into your body.
Emotionally, Spiritually, and Physically

Each person who draws breath on this earth receives the same amount of time each day,
24 hours, 1440 minutes, or 86,400 seconds.
At the end of that day the time is gone.
Time cannot be stolen, exchanged, refunded, stockpiled, or hacked.
Time is extremely limited and insanely in demand.
Think of all that competes with your time on a daily basis. Are you overwhelmed yet?
Many of us live at a frantic pace. Our calendars are overflowing;
We run from one activity to the next.
There is constant noise in our lives. We’re always “connected”.
However, are we actually connecting with others?
Busyness does not equal importance.
Today, be intentional in your relationships.
Make time to spend with those you love and care about.
Make a new memory you can cherish and reflect on.
Make sure you do something you love.
Take time for yourself to fill up your soul so you can fill up others.
Don’t hang out with people who drain your enery and are always complaining and being negative.
You don’t want to give your precious time to things and people that you will regret.
We only pass through this life once. Make your time count
What will you do today with your 24 hours? Your 1440 minutes? Your 86,400 seconds?

Such an inspiring interview.

Someone said to me yesterday "It must be nice doing what you love".
Made me think because I do wake up each day thankful that another day is upon me.
I guess what I love is meeting new people, building great relationships, and seeing people smile.
If I can be a small part of their smile my day was lived with some kind of purpose.
It's amazing how your entire overall health is affected when you are happy and smile.
Your body will thrive when filled with positive thoughts.
Giving the gift of a smile is even better!
Have a fabulous day everyone and Be The Reason Someone Smiles Today :)

So as the journey of eating healthier continues
I wanted to share some good news with you.
It's not always about your weight, it's
about how you feel in your own skin.
Sometimes you feel down after
stepping on that scale and it seems
like nothing is working.
You are eating a more alkaline diet,
you are starting to exercise, you watch
those calories and that darn scale
doesn't change
If you measure yourself by your weight only
you just might be cheating yourself out of
an achievement you didn't realize was
taking place.
I decided to take some measurements the
other day and realized I was losing inches
instead of lbs.
It's crazy how that number on the scale
affects how we think, live, and feel.
I have been the same weight for months
now however didn't see that changes were
taking place because my mind was focused
on a number.
Start to measure inches instead of pounds.
Start to measure how you feel.
Start to measure what your skin looks like
Start to measure your energy level
Start to measure all the great things going
on instead of measuring weight
I have to tell you that shopping for
jeans has always been such a stressful
experience.
Most of my friends wear skinny jeans
and even the thought of skinny jeans
makes me feel confined.
With much encouragement from women
who love me I went on the adventure
to find skinny jeans and was pleasantly
surprised at what I saw looking back at
me in the mirror yesterday.
I even managed to find some high boots
to accommodate my curvy legs.
I encourage each of you to read more
about alkaline vs acidic eating,
Add more pH to your life, and
start paying attention to your body
not the scale
I have lots of recipes on my blog
and in my book to get you started.
Enjoy!

I heard this the other day while listening
to James MacDonald and thought I would share with you.
Such a great analogy of how we walk the road of life and do not
see the holes we fall into.
It takes us a while to realize we keep falling into the
same holes.
The process to get out of them can be long and then
finally we walk a different road all together.
There's A Hole Down That Road
I walk down the road. There’s a hole down that road.
I don’t see the hole. I fall in the hole.
It’s very deep, and at the bottom, where I lay broken,
it’s cold and dark. I can’t get out.
I walk down the road. There’s a hole down that road.
I see the hole as I am walking down the road.
I fall in the hole. It’s familiar and strangely cosy.
I can’t get out.
I walk down the road. There’s a hole down that road.
I see the hole as I am walking down the road.
I fall in the hole. I don’t like the hole anymore.
I want to get out.
I walk down the road. There’s a hole down that road.
I see the hole as I am walking down the road.
I dread falling in the hole. I fall in the hole.
But I look up and decide to get out.
I walk down the road. There’s a hole down that road.
I see the hole as I walk down the road. I say to myself,
“I will not fall in the hole again.” I fall in the hole again.
I start climbing out.
I walk down the road. There’s a hole down that road.
I see the hole as I walk down the road.
I try not to fall down the hole.
But I fall in the hole again.
I get back out straight away.
I walk down the road. There’s a hole down that road.
I see the hole as I walk down the road.
My foot catches the edge and I fall in the hole.
But I don’t hit the bottom.
I cling to the edge and climb out of the hole.
I walk down the road. There’s a hole down that road.
I see the hole and step over it.
I don’t fall in the hole this time.
I walk down the road. There’s a hole down that road.
I see the hole and step over it.
But I trip. I fall in the hole.
I climb out faster than before.
I walk down the road. There’s a hole down that road.
But I’m not on that road.
I’ve walked down a different road.

Did you know your Skin Is Your Largest Organ?
Everything gets filtered thru your skin.
All the toxins of the world, pollution, smoke etc,
build up on your face and can cause wrinkles and make
your face look dull and grey.
Looking after your skin is important. Not just your
face but all your body.
Make sure you drink enough water to keep it hydrated,
eat an alkaline diet and use a hydrating replenishing
skin care system.
I wanted to share a Before and After photo with
you of a journey I have been on this past year and a half.
So..... here's my before and after. Crazy aye!
A few months before our wedding a friend introduced me to a new skin care line.
I had seen her before and after photos and thought it was maybe a gimmick
but she sure looked awesome.
I have always been someone who took good care of my skin
with facial cleanser, toner, creams etc. so decided to give it a try.
I wanted to have a softer glow to my face for the wedding and after
a couple of months I really enjoyed my results.
I also had a couple of clients comment on how soft my face was looking.
After the wedding I decided to continue to use the products and
because I have mature skin over 50 I decided to purchase the
aging serum product and eye cream.
Then WOW happened!!
It felt amazing. The results were staring me back from the mirror.
I saw my face the other night after a relaxing bath and
decided to take some photos.
I had my Before photo still in my phone that my friend took
on the first day after a facial and I compared my After photo
and was definitely happy with the results
So I have decided to share with you
I am seriously considering taking on this product
thru Fabulous, Fit & Fantastic Living
The 1st photo is 1 year 9 months ago after a facial hence why a bit of redness
and 2nd photo was this weekend after a relaxing bath. Fabulous results!!
If you would like further information or hear more about what
I have used and done feel free to email me at wendy@wendyladd.com
I would be happy to share with you.
I don't want to be doing a sales pitch on my blog
Just wanted to show you the WOW!!
Keep on Being Fabulous!
Luv Wendy
