  • What do Women Really Want?

Posted on June 27, 2015 by Wendy

    What do Women Really Want?

I love this! You have to read it to the end, to hear the wonderful conclusion. I won't spoil it for you.

Please comment and pass it on. Definitely worth sharing. Thank you Ursula for your insight :) <3

ARTHUR AND THE OLD UGLY WOMAN.

Young King Arthur was ambushed and imprisoned by the monarch of a neighbouring kingdom. The monarch could have killed him but was moved by Arthur's youth and ideals. So, the monarch offered him his freedom, as long as he could answer a very difficult question. Arthur would have a year to figure out the answer and, if, after a year, he still had no answer, he would be put to death.

The question?...What do women really want? Such a question would perplex even the most knowledgeable man, and to young Arthur, it seemed an impossible query. But, since it was better than death, he accepted the monarch's proposition to have an answer by year's end.

He returned to his kingdom and began to poll everyone: the princess, the priests, the wise men and even the court jester. He spoke with everyone, but no one could give him a satisfactory answer.

Many people advised him to consult the old ugly woman, for only she would have the answer.

But the price would be high; as the woman was famous throughout the kingdom for the exorbitant prices she charged.

The last day of the year arrived and Arthur had no choice but to talk to the old woman. She agreed to answer the question, but he would have to agree to her price first.

The old ugly woman wanted to marry Sir Lancelot, the most noble of the Knights of the Round Table and Arthur's closest friend!

Young Arthur was horrified. She was hunchbacked and hideous, had only one tooth, smelled like sewage, made obscene noises, etc. He had never encountered such a repugnant creature in all his life.

He refused to force his friend to marry her and endure such a terrible burden; but Lancelot, learning of the proposal, spoke with Arthur.

He said nothing was too big of a sacrifice compared to Arthur's life and the preservation of the Round Table.

Hence, a wedding was proclaimed and the woman answered Arthur's question thus:

What a woman really wants, she answered....is to be in charge of her own life.

Everyone in the kingdom instantly knew that the woman had uttered a great truth and that Arthur's life would be spared.

And so it was, the neighbouring monarch granted Arthur his freedom and Lancelot and the ugly woman had a wonderful wedding.

The honeymoon hour approached and Lancelot, steeling himself for a horrific experience, entered the bedroom. But, what a sight awaited him. The most beautiful woman he had ever seen lay before him on the bed. The astounded Lancelot asked what had happened.

The young beauty replied that since he had been so kind to her when she appeared ugly, she would henceforth, be her horrible deformed self only half the time and the beautiful maiden the other half.

Which would he prefer? Beautiful during the day....or night?

Lancelot pondered the predicament. During the day, a beautiful woman to show off to his friends, but at night, in the privacy of his castle, an old ugly woman? Or, would he prefer having a hideous woman during the day, but by night, a beautiful woman for him to enjoy wondrous intimate moments?

    What would YOU do?

    What Lancelot chose is below.

BUT....make YOUR choice before you scroll down below.

    OKAY?

Noble Lancelot said that he would allow HER to make the choice herself.

Upon hearing this, she announced that she would be beautiful all the time because he had respected her enough to let her be in charge of her own life.

Now....what is the moral to this story?

    The moral is.....

If you don't let a woman have her own way....

Things are going to get ugly..

Hope you got a cute chuckle.

  • Summer is here and so are Bathing Suits

Posted on June 22, 2015 by Wendy

Summer is "officially" here and it's time to talk about bathing suit weather. I know, not a lot of you want to see if last year's suit fits. If I may make a suggestion... get rid of the old and in with the new.

There are some fabulous bathing suits and colourful cover ups out in the stores right now. All shapes and sizes to flatter your bust line and buttocks. Low waist, high waist, mid waist, skirt bottoms and capri bottoms. Also all different tops for all bust sizes.

Take some time when you are feeling good, calm and relaxed with no intention to actually purchase and go try some on. This is the best time when you don't feel pressured. I usually always have the best shopping experience when I am just looking. It's those days you go when you must buy something that turn out to be the most stressful.

So wherever you have to be this summer in a bathing suit, I am sure you will look Fabulous. Don't let your size or shape take away some awesome times and memories.

    Remember to always be Fabulous!

  • Feeling Fabulous, Fit & Fantastic- Congratulations Wendy Morgan

Posted on June 7, 2015 by Wendy

    Feeling Fabulous, Fit & Fantastic!!!

Here is an inspiring testimony I have had the privilege to personally witness. Wendy Morgan, is a mother of 3, and a grandmother of 1 who works full time in a hospital.

There came a time for Wendy when she said "enough is enough".
She bought my book Fabulous Fit & Fantastic Living,"Get to your natural state of weight" when the
fund raising campaign was happening. I think she bought it more in support of the campaign and didn't realize exactly how it was going to change her life.

After reading the book, Wendy knew that she wanted to feel more vibrant, alive, and energetic.
Too many days were spent feeling achy and lazy. She knew she had to make changes.

As we all know having the information to make changes in our life is the easy part. It's the discipline
on a daily basis that is the hardest part. After printing of the pH Balanced Alkaline/Acidic chart
from my book Wendy began her shopping.

She was not one who liked vegetables or who drank a lot of water. Wendy was a fan of pop and processed foods. Her busy lifestyle got her into a rut of eating on the run and not taking time to nourish her body properly.

Wendy learned how to start with small changes, easy changes for beginning the journey.
She started adding lemon to her water, got rid of the pop and packaged processed foods and began eating wholesome foods. Her cupboards no longer stock cookies and sugar foods and she has learned how to shop the outside aisles of the super market.

Wendy has lost 27 pounds in the past 4 months since she made a decision to eat a more alkaline, pH balanced diet.
I love how the changes happen in people who choose this lifestyle. It's not about loosing weight, it's
    about being healthier.
Your body will automatically go to it's "natural state of weight" when you change to a pH balanced diet.

I had the pleasure of taking Wendy shopping and helping her choose some new outfits.
You will see from her before photo and her after photo she is definitely feeling more vibrant, alive & energetic.

Congratulations Wendy on taking the information and making a difference in your life.
Not only does this change YOUR life, it changes YOUR family's life as well.
You will inspire others by being the Best YOU, that YOU can be.

You definitely are a model of Fabulous, Fit & Fantastic Living

  • Your Soul's Mirror

Posted on June 2, 2015 by Wendy

As I wake up each morning and think about what the day will bring, there is usually a thought that comes to my mind, hence how I do my blogging or my daily "Thought of the Day" for Facebook. Today's thought was very strong. The question is "What do you see when you look in the mirror"? I found this article up front and personal, exactly what I was thinking and looking for. So many of us define ourselves on what we do and not who we truly are. I was at an event the other day and the only question a gal asked me is "What do you do"? She was focused on this and asked it a couple of time as I did not answer. She made me feel like the essence of who I was- was congruent on what did I do? I won't explain any further, read this article and you will see what I mean.

The Huffington post has many other great articles so take time to check them out. I have listed the link
at the end of this article. Thank you to Alka Dhillon- Author of the OM Factor for this article.
