    Eating alkaline and changing your routines of what you eat are not
    always easy.

    Grabbing quick, processed foods seem to be the
    way of the world these days as our lives seem to get busier
    and busier, however it is not the healthy choice.

    It takes discipline and a strong desire to feel healthier.

    The best way to feel more vibrant and alive is to add more
    alkaline foods into your diet.

    Start gradually and make small changes. You will notice
    the difference within a few days and it will motivate you
    to keep adding more alkaline foods day by day.

    Your body will love you for it!!
    And you will also feel a bit lighter as well

  • Emotional Detoxify

    Many people ask me about my program and how it works and
    I share with them that eating an alkaline diet will get you
    to Your Natural State of Weight"

    What that means is your body is happiest at a certain weight
    It doesn't mean that is your slimmest weight, it means it is
    your healthiest weight.

    After many years of dieting and trying to be skinny I realized
    my body was happiest at a heavier weight than what I thought
    was the worlds "ideal weight for me.

    Once I accepted the fact that I wanted to be healthy not skinny
    I became a much happier person.

    I must share with you that when you begin my program there will
    be some detoxifying that will naturally happen as your body
    cleanses itself from all the processed foods and sugar it has
    gotten used to.

    It's important to remember cleansing is a mind, body, heart & soul experience.

    The process of cleansing not only helps eliminate the poisons stored In our body
    but it has a fascinating tendency to emotionally detoxify us as well.

    Sometimes when we cleanse or fast we get angry, anxious, depressed, and
    experience a high. All this is natural as your body is dealing with
    the change.

    The beginning is the most challenging time as your mind will play
    tricks on you telling you that you need to keep those toxins.

    You will fight with your will power and your discipline to stay the course

    All I can tell you my friends is dedicate 10 days to stay the course,
    to plan your schedule to eat alkaline

    Know that you will have some emotions, maybe a couple of headaches and
    moodiness.... but it is WORTH IT.

  • Benefits of Buckwheat

    Add some Buckwheat to your diet vs having a complex carbohydrate like
    wheat and rice. Wheat and rice cause sticky mucus.

    Also Grains form acids when they are broken down so limit how much
    you eat of them, and use only fresh, organic grains.
    Sprouted grains are the best.

    Buckwheat is neutral, slightly acidic and slightly alkaline.
    You can also try Spelt and Millet.

  • Tomatoes & Cucumber Salad for Breakfast

    One of the biggest changes you can make to switch your lifestyle to a
    more alkaline state of living is to change up what you have for breakfast.

    Most of us eat bread products, bacon, cold sugary cereal, which makes your
    body instantly acidic. Consuming large amounts of sugar and simple
    carbohydrates for breakfast acidify the blood and tissues.
    It will also give you a false burst of energy.

    All of the acidic foods are very low in water so not a good way
    to begin your day.

    I know it will sound abnormal however the best breakfast is a warm
    bowl of home made vegetable soup, a salad or even a veggie wrap.

    One of my favourite dishes is tomato and cucumber salad with
    a bit of sea salt and pepper. Sometimes I have it alone or in
    a multigrain veggie wrap.

    Give it a try or even a plate of green veggies for breakfast.
    You will be amazed at how much energy you can have for
    the morning instead of a sugar rush and caffeine buzz.

  • Pineapple and Papaya

    Pineapple and Papaya are an excellent way to add Bromelain to your diet.

    The main reason I love Bromelain is because it is an anti-inflammatory.
    It can help reduce pain, ulcers, joints and swelling.

    Bromelain is also an enzyme that is highly effective antifungal and antibacterial
    which helps your large intestine where most fungus is found.

    Bromelain removes fungus and dead bacteria and helps boosts the healthy flora.

    So to help alleviate the bloating and swelling add some pineapples and papaya
    to your diet. Your body will love you for it!

    Try adding some lemons, limes and grapefruit to your water.

    Even though they are chemically acid, tests show that when they are metabolized in the body
    they actually have an alkalizing effect.
