  • INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY 2014

Posted on March 8, 2014 by Wendy

Today is International Women's Day so be sure to say thank you and celebrate the Women in your life who inspire you and make a difference. I think we should do this every day just not on this day.

Be sure not to be one of those women who sees another womans success, and feels the need to talk about them behind their back and say bad things about them to hurt their future. Be the woman who saltues other women, holds the flag for them when they cross the winners line, and who claps and applauds them for being great, for being daring enough to go out and live their dreams.

I applaud ALL women for being FABULOUS!

    Luv Wendy

  • Happy New Year - 2014

Posted on January 1, 2014 by Wendy

    Happy New Year everyone!

As this year opens up a new door of opportunity may you step through it with strength, courage, inspiration, joy, patience, integrity, humbleness, and faith. Give yourself the gifts of grace, self love, encouragement, acceptance, and allow yourself to be the best YOU that you can be, and shine like a star. Allow yourself to flourish because you can and because you want to, not because you have to and others think you should. Be authentic and honest with yourself. Look at yourself each morning and tell yourself you are worthy; you have purpose, you are Fabulous, and give yourself a great big hug. You were created for a purpose, and you make a difference.

May 2014 bring you all that you wish and hope for, and remember to take everything that happens as a lesson as it all will happen for a reason. Make this YOUR year!

    Luv Wendy

  • pH Balance = eating your fruits & veggies

Posted on December 28, 2013 by Wendy

Make sure you eat your fruit & veggies for a pH balanced body.

If you are feeling a bit tired and achy today it could be because your pH level is out of balance from eating all the fatty, salty, sugary foods from the holidays. Up your intake on your fruits & veggies and alkaline foods. It's amazing how living in a pH balance state will eliminate aches and pains, and help you feel more vibrant and alive. Nothing better than eating an alkaline diet to detox your body and feel energetic.

We will be offering in the new year pH balanced alkaline recipes, videos, and tips to stay pH balanced. You can sign up if you are interested for the newsleter www.wendyladd.com

    Enjoy your day

    Luv Wendy

  • INSTANT GRATIFICATION - MOOD ELEVATING HEMP BALLS

Posted on December 8, 2013 by Wendy

INSTANT GRATIFICATION - MOOD ELEVATING HEMP BALLS.

So if you are not so sure what to bring to the company party for desert or just need a boost in the afternoon, try these :

Instant Gratification - Mood elevating Hemp Balls

They are a little chewy, a little nutty, a lot delicious. Instant Gratification can be yours with a delicious mood-elevating hemp balls. A perfect afternoon energy boost of medjool dates, cashews and hemp seeds.

    INGREDIENTS.

    8 Pitted medjool dates
1 heaping tablespoon of crushed raw cashews
1 heaping tablespoon hulled hemp seeds
    1 heaping teaspoon coconut oil
You can add a couple drops of vanilla for extra flavour

    FOR THE OUTSIDE DECORATION

1-2 tablespoons hemp seeds for rolling

    DIRECTIONS

Blend all the above ingredients in a home blender, or a food processor, depends on what you own. Blend until all the mixture is starting to stick together.

All you do is now shape the mixture into 1 inch balls or whatever size you wish. 1 inch is best for bit size nibbles.

These hemp balls will be chewy and nice and soft if you eat them right away.

    Super delish!!!

    Recipes make about 6-8 balls.

    BENEFITS OF HEMP SEEDS.

Hemp "seeds" are actually a fruit. They are round and tiny and have a a bit of a nutty flavour. They kind of taste like a pine nut with a more mild flavour.

Hemp seeds are a fabulous vegan source of easily digested protein. Hemp seeds contain all of the 10 essential amino acids and also are a healthy anti-inflammatory.

Hemp seeds are plant-based phytonutrients and rich in disease fighting nutrients.
An awesome alkaline food to help get you pH balanced.

Try sprinkling hemp seeds over a salad, as a topping on granola, puddings or other desserts. They can also be added to smoothies to give it a more nuttier flavour.

You can buy hemp sees at any natural foods store or if you prefer not to make the hemp balls, you can find them at Superfoods Eateries in Toronto, my health store of choice

    Enjoy!

    Luv Wendy

  • One year anniversary of There Comes A Time

Posted on November 23, 2013 by Wendy

It was 1 year ago today that the poem There Comes A Time was launched. I want to say thank you to each and every one of you that was a part of this video and also to all the people who came to the event and continue to support this journey. So many wonderful things have come from this poem/video and the card has travelled all around the world. It just warms my heart when people from India, New Zealand, U.K. order this card and I know it is sitting on the fireplaces and bedside tables of people I have never met. My heart is full. A big thank you to the CCAA and Ellen Campbell for hosting my event. I am blessed.

    Luv Wendy
