To juice or not to juice? That was my question.....

Two close friends of mine have taken on the lifestyle of eating SUPER FOODS & JUICING and what a wonderful experience they have shared with me. This has always been something I wanted to do, however, somewhere deep down inside I don't think I was really truly 100% ready for this. The discipline to fully honour a lifestyle of SUPERFOODS & JUICING isn't as easy as it sounds. As I watched my close friends transition their bodys and of course their minds with the juicing lifestyle, I made a decision to make this my lifestyle as well. I committed to the decision, I WAS READY!

Starting Feb 2, 2013 I began my journey of SUPER FOODS & JUICING - a 10 day Juicing Detox to start off with. I am writing a daily journal of what my experience is, how I feel, and what is transpiring inside my body so I can share with all of you as well. I am so grateful for the support I have received from my close friends that I know NOW IS MY TIME!!

The main reason I took on this new lifestyle was for better Health, it is not so much for weight, however, I did find myself hanging on to ten pounds that I just couldn't ever seem to let go of. I call this my emotional weight and I know most of you understand what this means. In my new book coming out this spring, I dedicated an entire chapter to how Emotions affect your weight. With all that happens in our daily life, and the stress we engage in, sometimes our emotions are like they are on a roller coaster, up and down, and the weight just will never go away.

I have learned that when you are juicing your body can absorb the nutrients better and it gives your digestive system a rest from working on fiber. Some experts say that juicing can reduce your risk of cancer, boost your immune system, help you remove toxins from your body, aid digestion, and help you lose weight.

I engaged on a journey three years ago to truly understand what it is like to live in a pH balanced state, to learn about the proper balance of alkaline and acidic foods, how this pH balanced diet affects our weight, and just what does the food do to your body that you put into your mouth. I became aware of each item and what were the benefits and side affects, and was it worth it. We truly are slowly killing ourselves with processed and fried foods.

I am on a journey of discovery to share with the rest of the world my results, and to help others understand the question that I asked... To juice or not to juice? I am learning how to incorporate juicing into a daily lifestyle and balance it with the proper amounts of pH balanced foods and diet. I am excited about my coaching program to help educate you on the benefits of eating a proper balanced pH diet - knowing what are alkaline and acidic foods, and to get to your "natural state of weight".
