Every once in a while you Gotta Spice it Up!
I made this for dinner Friday night so thought I would share with you.
INGREDIENTS
1 LB of lean ground turkey
1 small white onion (chopped up small)
1 medium size orange pepper (chopped up small)
Dried hot chilli peppers ( to suit taste for hotness)
1 package of brussel sprouts ( approximately 20 - wash and cut in half)
1 package of green beans ( approximately 20 - wash and cut in small pieces)
1 small tomato (wash and slice in small cubes)
3 cloves of garlic (chopped)
Oregano and basil leaves (sprinkled in turkey)
1 handful of slivered almonds (put on at end)
DIRECTIONS
Place the lean ground turkey in a pan
Bring to medium heat until almost fully cooked
Do not use oils, only water
Stir in the chopped onions and orange peppers and chilli peppers with the turkey
Stir in the brussel sprouts and green beans.
Stir in chopped garlic
Add tomato at the end along with slivered almonds
That's pretty much it.
Simple, easy and spicy if you dared to add the Hot chilli peppers
Enjoy!
And Remember to always be Fabulous!

Waking up this morning with the first frost on the ground made me think about what hearty soups
I can make full of delicious root vegetables.
I went searching and found this recipe from House and Garden in the UK so wanted to share it with you.
You can vary the vegetables according to what's in season and what you have to hand. Vegetables like cauliflower or sprouts also roast well. Sumac is a Middle Eastern spice with a mild, almost lemony flavour.
It's available at most large supermarkets in the spice section.
Enjoy!
And Remember to Always Be Fabulous!
