This is my new favourite!
Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner

I have been on a path this September to
combine my blood type with alkaline foods
to get optimum health and healing in my
body and I found these Organic Veggie Wraps
the other day.

OMG they are Delicious! They come in a variety
of choices however today is Spinach & Tumeric

TODAYS WRAP INGREDIENTS - ALL ORGANIC INGREDIENTS

Arugula lettuce, Romaine lettuce
Spinach, Celery, Tomatoes, Broccoli, Onions,
Pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, Walnuts,

I lined the wrap with Organic Guacamole - ALL ORGANIC INGREDIENTS

Avocado, red onions, cilantro, garlic, lemon juice
chili powder, cumin, sea salt & black pepper

After placing ingredients on the wrap I sprinkled some
extra Tumeric on it for some extra flavour

1) The first one is I'm tired. If you're saying that, you're in stage one or step one acidosis.

2) The second one is irritation or sensitivities. You may have allergies or skin outbreaks, acne. This is stage two acidosis, or step two.

3) Stage three is when you start constantly clearing your throat or coughing. Your body is actually neutralizing acids or buffering acids, producing a sticky mucus. This is stage three acidosis, or step three.

4) Step four is when you're in an inflammatory state. You cannot be in an inflammatory state or have pain without acid.

5) Stage five is when the acid that you should be eliminating becomes solidified. This is when it builds up on the walls of the arteries and sets the stage for a stroke. Most people that are in a stage of solidification can check that by testing their cholesterol, because cholesterol increases in the presence of acidity to buffer excess acid to protect the organs that sustain life. It's not that cholesterol is bad. It's trying to protect you against your poor acidic lifestyle and dietary choices.

6) Step six is ulcerations, and finally,

7) Step seven is degeneration. Now you've been diagnosed with cancer or diabetes, or a degenerative or osteoporosis, a degenerative condition that's a reflection of what you're eating, what you're drinking, and what you're thinking.

<![CDATA[Veggie & Organic Whole Grain Quinoa]]> Tue, 03 Apr 2018 06:29:12 +0000 Looking for an alternative to meat for your protein?

Try an easy to make Veggie & Quinoa dish.

It is high in fiber, protein and has a low glycemic index.

It contains eight grams of protein per cup, plus, it's considered a complete protein,
meaning it packs all nine essential amino acids your body needs.

INGREDIENTS

2 Cups of Water
1 Cup of Quinoa - serves a family of 4 for dinner
2 stalks of celery
1 sweet red pepper
1/2 of a sweet onion
2 carrots
3 broccoli florets
Sea Salt
Fresh ground pepper

INSTRUCTIONS

Rinse off 1 cup of Quinoa
Measure 2 cups of water
Add the Quinoa to the water and bring to a boil
Simmer for 20 minutes
Cut up in small pieces the celery, red pepper, onion, carrots and broccoli
After Quinoa is cooked pour into large bowl
Add all the veggie ingredients and stir until blended together
Add sea salt and fresh pepper to taste

Enjoy!

Excellent way to add some protein to your diet if you do not want to eat
beef, chicken, pork etc.

For those of you who wake up every morning and step on a scale deciding if it's a good day
or not pending on what you weigh I must share with you it's time to stop letting that scale control you.

I encourage people to cut the labels out of their clothing so they don't know what size they wear.
It doesnt matter. If you feel great, feel confident in who you are, and love who you
see looking back in the mirror, you have got it made people.

Don't let the size of the outfit affect how you feel about yourself.
You are FABULOUS!

This applies to both men and women. Both sexes feel the same body image issues.
I learned a long time ago I will never be a size 4. I could stress out my body
but my bones and my DNA won't allow it for a healthy state.

I tried living as a size 6 and was dizzy all the time.
I love my curves, I love my bootie and I love loving MYSELF.

Being a SIZE HEALTHY is more important than the size of my jeans.

CELEBRATE what ever size you are, whether it's a 2 or a 22 as long as you are HEALTHY.

Your Size Does Not Define YOU. Society has warped our minds of what HEALTHY looks like.

Eat an alkaline diet and you will get to your "natural state of weight".

way of the world these days as our lives seem to get busier

The best way to feel more vibrant and alive is to add more

Start gradually and make small changes. You will notice

I share with them that eating an alkaline diet will get you
to Your Natural State of Weight"

What that means is your body is happiest at a certain weight
It doesn't mean that is your slimmest weight, it means it is
your healthiest weight.

After many years of dieting and trying to be skinny I realized
my body was happiest at a heavier weight than what I thought
was the worlds "ideal weight for me.

Once I accepted the fact that I wanted to be healthy not skinny
I became a much happier person.

I must share with you that when you begin my program there will
be some detoxifying that will naturally happen as your body
cleanses itself from all the processed foods and sugar it has
gotten used to.

It's important to remember cleansing is a mind, body, heart & soul experience.

The process of cleansing not only helps eliminate the poisons stored In our body
but it has a fascinating tendency to emotionally detoxify us as well.

Sometimes when we cleanse or fast we get angry, anxious, depressed, and
experience a high. All this is natural as your body is dealing with
the change.

The beginning is the most challenging time as your mind will play
tricks on you telling you that you need to keep those toxins.

You will fight with your will power and your discipline to stay the course

All I can tell you my friends is dedicate 10 days to stay the course,
to plan your schedule to eat alkaline

Know that you will have some emotions, maybe a couple of headaches and
moodiness.... but it is WORTH IT.

wheat and rice. Wheat and rice cause sticky mucus.

Also Grains form acids when they are broken down so limit how much
you eat of them, and use only fresh, organic grains.
Sprouted grains are the best.

Buckwheat is neutral, slightly acidic and slightly alkaline.
You can also try Spelt and Millet.

<![CDATA[Tomatoes & Cucumber Salad for Breakfast]]> Thu, 11 May 2017 04:35:05 +0000 One of the biggest changes you can make to switch your lifestyle to a
more alkaline state of living is to change up what you have for breakfast.

Most of us eat bread products, bacon, cold sugary cereal, which makes your
body instantly acidic. Consuming large amounts of sugar and simple
carbohydrates for breakfast acidify the blood and tissues.
It will also give you a false burst of energy.

All of the acidic foods are very low in water so not a good way
to begin your day.

I know it will sound abnormal however the best breakfast is a warm
bowl of home made vegetable soup, a salad or even a veggie wrap.

One of my favourite dishes is tomato and cucumber salad with
a bit of sea salt and pepper. Sometimes I have it alone or in
a multigrain veggie wrap.

Give it a try or even a plate of green veggies for breakfast.
You will be amazed at how much energy you can have for
the morning instead of a sugar rush and caffeine buzz.
